REALTOR.com® Leads Online Market Share in November
REALTOR.com® was the most-visited real estate website last month, according to statistics released by Web metrics company Hitwise.
With a 6.45 percent share of traffic in the real estate category, Realtor.com once again dominates the list of the Top 20 real estate websites as the No. 1 most visited real estate website based on a sample of 10 million Internet users. Zillow was No. 2 on the list with half of Realtor.com’s market share, bumping Yahoo! Real Estate to the No. 3 spot.
No. 4 on the list was Zip Realty, which accumulated 2.79 percent of visitors, followed by Rent.com at 2.41 percent. Trulia.com came in with 2.29 percent market share while ServiceMagic fell from fifth place in October to seventh place in November with 2.27 percent market share.
The remaining top ten real estate websites include Homes.com at No. 8, MSN Real Estate at No. 9, and RE/MAX Real Estate coming in at No. 10.
Hitwise reports that Apartment Guide fell in the rankings from No. 14 to No. 16, Century 21 Real Estate dropped from No. 16 to No. 17, and AOL Real Estate went up three positions from No. 17 to No. 14.
